Paltan Trailer Out: JP Dutta's War Drama Looks Set To Give You Goosebumps
Veteran filmmaker JP Dutta, who gave the film industry some of the finest war dramas of all time, including the National award winning Border (1997), is back with a bang with Paltan. The trailer of the film was released on social media a while ago, and it's gripping to say the least. Have a look:

The film is based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border. Paltan showcases an untold story of the Indian forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.

Coming to talk of JP Dutta, his Border went on to achieve several milestones and was even screened to commemorate India’s 70th Independence Day. The director- producer now hopes to push the envelope and present audiences with another chapter from Indian history.

Talking about the film, JP Dutta recently said, “It's time we diverted our attention to our other neighbour, who is a bigger threat than Pakistan. A mighty power in world politics, China is claiming Arunachal Pradesh as a part of its territory. Even their map shows the state as a part of their country. During the 1962 war, China took over a large part of Ladakh and feels that the remaining area belongs to it, too. It's a discussion waiting to happen, which makes my film's subject relevant. This is the time to address some hard-hitting questions about the history of India's relations with China..."

Paltan is set to hit theatres on September 7.
